Warranty Information:
  • Starwatt.in Warranty: All Products purchased from Starwatt.in includes Free pick-and-drop service for repairs or replacements, covering manufacturing defects as per Starwatt® Limited Warranty Guidelines.
  • Other Marketplaces: Limited 12 Year warranty; registration required for Free Pick and Drop Warranty coverage on Mini UPS Compact, Pro and Max and Air Fiber UPS and accessories to unlock full warranty benefits. Activate at starwatt.in/activate-warranty for all purchases.
  • Air Fiber UPS: Offers 18 Months Standard or 36 Months Extended warranty (exclusive to Starwatt.in, based on invoice and model). Both models are physically identical but differ in price due to warranty duration.
  • Free Pick-and-Drop Service: Optional benefit for customers who share a genuine review on the purchase platform (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart). Submit a screenshot of your review at starwatt.in/activate-warranty to activate. Without a review, standard warranty applies, but one-way shipping costs for claims are borne by the customer.
  • Warranty Type: "Repair" involves fixing the device; "Replacement" provides a new unit if applicable.
  • Warranties do not cover misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.

Warning: We do not recommend our customers open or try repairing the Mini UPS. This product contains a Lithium-ion battery, which falls under the dangerous goods category. Any unauthorized repair or dismantling of the Mini UPS risks puncturing of internal Lithium-ion batteries which can lead to overheating, causing fire or an explosion, resulting in burns, toxic chemical exposure, and pollution due to the battery rupturing. Hence, these should be handled with care by experienced personnel only. Unauthorized repairs may cause damage, Starwatt® is not responsible for any causality or damage that happened to you.

If you face any issues with your Starwatt® Mini UPS, please raise a request to our RMA Team following the steps below, and we will be delighted to help you.

If the warranty claim is authorized as per the Starwatt® Limited Warranty Guidelines, the consumer will be responsible for sending the defective/damaged product to the service centre as per the directions of the support executive. The consumer bears one-way shipping costs to Starwatt®; Starwatt® covers return shipping. Refer to the Self-Ship-Back Policy above.

Starwatt® Warranty Claim Process

To keep track of each incident, we prefer written communication for tracking and recording purposes.

  • STEP 1 - Raise Warranty Claim: To raise a warranty claim, fill out the Warranty Claim Form below. Before filling, read the Starwatt® Limited Warranty Guidelines.

    The RMA Team will review your request and respond via email with their decision.

  • STEP 2 - Send the Faulty UPS: If the claim is authorized, pack the defective/damaged Starwatt UPS (without accessories) and send it to the service centre as per the email instructions from the support executive.

  • STEP 3 - Share the Package Tracking ID:

    Share the tracking/docket ID and courier name via the same email to track the shipment. Upon receipt of the tracking ID, a UPS replacement unit will be dispatched within 24 hours.

  • STEP 4 - Replacement Unit Dispatch:

    Claims will be processed after receiving the returned package. A replacement unit will be dispatched to your provided address within 24 hours of receiving the tracking ID.

Starwatt® Limited Warranty Guidelines
  • The Warranty Period begins on the date of purchase.
  • If purchased on Online Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) or 3rd party websites or retailers, the product must be registered on our website within 7 days of receipt/delivery to be eligible for warranty claims.
  • The warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the Starwatt® products only and is non-transferable.
  • Purchase Invoice is required for availing warranty services. If the Invoice is found Altered / Fake / Manipulated or if the amount has been refunded for the product invoice, the warranty will be revoked and customer will not be liable for making any further claims.
  • If the warranty claim is authorized, the End User must send the defective/damaged product to the service centre within 7 days post-approval. The End User bears one-way shipping costs to Starwatt®; Starwatt® covers return shipping. Refer to the Self-Ship-Back Policy below.
  • The product can be replaced only once within the warranty period.
  • Repairs are targeted within 3 working days of receiving the product at our warehouse, but this is not guaranteed.
  • Warranty service is limited to repair or replacement at Starwatt®'s discretion; refunds are not provided.
  • Proof of purchase and registration are required for warranty services.
  • Warranty coverage is limited to repairs and rectification of faults reported within the warranty period after registration.
  • If a replacement is provided, it will be a new UPS without packaging or accessories.
  • For forward shipping of replacement units, if the customer does not accept delivery or is not contactable, re-shipping charges will be borne by the customer as COD to re-initiate the process.
  • If the product becomes faulty a second time during the warranty period, it will be repaired.
  • Warranty is void if the warranty sticker is tampered with or if the product has been opened or disassembled.
  • Warranty claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the defect, or they will be considered invalid.
  • Starwatt® reserves the right to request additional evidence, such as photos, videos, or diagnostic logs, to validate claims; failure to provide this may result in claim denial.
  • For Li-ion battery issues, Starwatt® may require additional information to confirm if degradation is due to manufacturing defect or normal wear.
  • All claims are subject to inspection by Starwatt® authorized personnel; decisions on validity are final and binding.
Starwatt® Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
  • Products not operated per the instruction manual, due to incorrect connections, or overloading with mismatched Power/Current/Voltage-rated devices.
  • Physical damage, End User abuse, negligence, unauthorized repairs, misuse, damage by pests/pets/rodents, accidental/incidental damage, liquid spillage, extreme temperatures, atmospheric conditions, water logging, non-specified charger usage, broken/cut wires, improper/reckless use, or defects from uncontrollable causes like lightning or abnormal voltage.
  • Expired warranty.
  • Wear and tear of in-built batteries due to improper use.
  • Deteriorated power backup due to the power consumption of connected devices.
  • Deterioration or peeling of product color due to normal wear and tear.
  • Issues with product appearance due to dust or dirt accumulation.
  • Purchase from unauthorized persons or shopping channels.
  • Minor faults that do not affect the product’s value or technical condition.
  • Faults from improper use (e.g., mechanical damage, incorrect operating voltage) as stated in the user’s manual.
  • Damages or defects caused by extreme wear and tear (scratches, attritions, abrasions), extreme temperature, or humidity.
  • Faults from accidental or intentional damage.
  • Product loss.
  • Li-ion battery capacity degradation over time.
  • Damage from overdischarge (e.g. storing the device fully discharged for extended periods) or using incompatible third-party power adapters beyond specified voltage limits.
  • Use in environments outside the recommended temperature range (0°C to 45°C for operation, -10°C to 60°C for storage).
  • Claims without original packaging or if the product has been modified with non-Starwatt® parts or accessories.
  • Faults due to software/firmware updates not authorized by Starwatt® or improper installation of updates.
  • Damage from using the product in high-humidity environments (>85% RH) or exposure to corrosive substances.
  • Counterfeit or imitation products not manufactured by Starwatt®.
  • Claims for cosmetic damage that does not impact functionality.
Starwatt® Self-Ship-Back Policy
  • If you have availed Starwatt’s free doorstep pick-up and drop service, Starwatt® will handle both pick-up and return at no cost; otherwise, you must mail/courier your product to our warehouse, in which case the customer bears one-way sending costs while Starwatt® covers the return shipping. Please ensure you use a trackable shipping service, as Starwatt® is not liable until the product reaches the warehouse.
  • In any case, if Starwatt® arranges pick-up and the courier takes more than three-days in your area to collect the package after the pickup is scheduled and the tracking ID is shared with you, it is beyond our control as it depends on courier operations in your area; further, if reverse pickup service is not available in your area through our partners (Xpressbees or Delhivery), we will notify you with proof, and in such cases you may be required to ship the product back to our warehouse as per the directions of our support executive.
  • Self-ship the product within 2 days after return request approval.
  • Ensure the product is returned within 10 days post-approval using a trackable shipping service.
  • The product must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in original packaging or complete with packaging and accessories.
  • Pack the returned product properly to avoid damage in transit, as Starwatt® is not liable for such damage.
  • The warehouse team will verify the device upon receipt. If found damaged or tampered, no warranty will be provided.
  • Replacements/repairs are typically processed within 3 working days of warehouse receipt.
  • Customers must include a detailed description of the issue and proof of troubleshooting attempts (e.g., photos/videos) with the shipped product; failure to do so may delay processing or result in claim denial.
  • Starwatt® reserves the right to reject shipments that do not include required documentation or are improperly packaged.
  • For Li-ion battery products, include battery usage logs if available; otherwise, claims may be subject to additional testing fees borne by the customer if misuse is suspected.
  • Shipping insurance is recommended for high-value items; Starwatt® is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments en route to the warehouse.
