Cancellation Policy

Note: This Cancellation Policy applies exclusively to orders placed on Starwatt.in. It outlines the conditions under which orders can be cancelled, refund processes, and customer responsibilities, complementing our Refund and Returns PolicyCash on Delivery Policy, and Forward Shipping Policy. For electronic items like Mini UPS systems, specific conditions apply due to their technical nature.

1. Eligibility for Cancellation

Customers may cancel orders under specific conditions outlined below. Please review the terms carefully to understand your options.

1.1. Cancellation of Prepaid Orders Before Dispatch

You can cancel your prepaid order before it is dispatched from our warehouse or handed over to our courier partner.

1.1.1.     Refund to Original Payment Method or Bank Account: A 2% deduction of the order amount will be applied to cover payment gateway fees. The refund will be processed within 7–10 business days. 

1.1.2.     Refund as Store Credit or Coupon: If you choose store credit or a coupon, the full order amount will be credited without any deductions within 7–10 business days. The coupon code can be used on Starwatt.in as per our Refund and Returns Policy. To avoid deductions, please verify that you have ordered the correct model and specifications.

1.2 Cancellation of Prepaid Orders After Shipping or Rejection at Delivery

1.2.1. No Cancellation After Dispatch: Once an order is dispatched, cancellation is not permitted by courier. Customers may refuse delivery upon arrival, subject to the conditions below.

1.2.2.  Refusal of Delivery for prepaid orders: If a customer cancels an order after it has been shipped or refuses delivery or reject it at the time of delivery during 3 – courier attempts – a 5% shipping charge will be deducted from the order value. The remaining amount can be refunded to your original payment method or provided as a store credit/coupon, based on your preference. Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

 For COD orders, refer to our Cash on Delivery Policy for applicable terms.

1.3. Electronic Items: Refused deliveries of electronic items (e.g., Mini UPS systems) must be returned in original, unopened packaging. Used, altered, or tampered products are not eligible for refunds, as per our Refund and Returns Policy.

1.4.  Non-Delivery of Prepaid After 25 Business Days

If your order is not delivered within 25 business days due to courier issues or other external factors beyond our control, you may request a cancellation with a full refund. The refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.

1.5.  Non-Cancellable Orders

Orders cannot be cancelled after dispatch from our warehouse or for customized/made-to-order products (e.g., tailored Mini UPS configurations). These items are specifically prepared for you and are non-cancellable once production or dispatch has begun.

2.    Cancellation Process

2.1. How to Cancel: To cancel an eligible order, contact us via written communication at:

– Written communication is preferred for logging and tracking purposes.

2.2. Verification: Cancellation requests must include the order number and customer details. We will confirm cancellation eligibility within 24–48 hours.

2.3. Self-Service Cancellation: For prepaid orders, customers may cancel eligible orders directly through their Starwatt.in account before dispatch, if available.

3.    Starwatt-Initiated Cancellations
3.1. Reasons for Cancellation: Starwatt.in reserves the right to cancel orders due to system errors, non-compliance with order requirements (e.g., stock hoarding), unavailability of stock, or other operational issues.


3.2. Refund Process: For Starwatt-initiated cancellations, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method or as a coupon code (at the customer’s choice) within 7–10 business days.

4.    Failed or Deducted Payments

4.1. Automatic Refunds: If an order fails or is cancelled and payment is deducted, the full amount will be automatically refunded to the customer’s card or account within 7–10 business days.
4.2. Verification: Customers must notify us at support@starwatt.in or via WhatsApp (+91-6284772413) if a refund is not received within the specified timeframe.

5.    Special Conditions for Electronic Items

5.1.  Non-Cancellable After Opening: Electronic items, such as Mini UPS systems, cannot be cancelled or refunded if opened, used, or tampered with, due to their technical nature and safety requirements.

5.2.   Defective Items: If an electronic item is delivered defective, customers must provide video proof of the issue within 7 days of delivery, as per our Refund and Returns Policy, to initiate a return or replacement.

5.3.  Original Packaging: All cancellations or refusals involving electronic items must include the original packaging, accessories, and documentation to be eligible for a refund.

6.    Customer Responsibilities
6.1.  Accurate Information: Provide accurate order and contact details to avoid cancellation delays. Incorrect information may result in order cancellation without refund eligibility.

6.2.  Timely Communication: Submit cancellation requests promptly before dispatch to ensure eligibility.

6.3.  Inspection: For refused deliveries, ensure the parcel is returned unopened and undamaged to qualify for a refund.
